Located in 50 acres of heritage listed sub-tropical forest, stretching around the shores of pristine Lake Weyba, Eumarella Shores offers the peace and tranquillity of a country retreat in an outstanding coastal location - a truly unique destination.

Guests are accommodated in enchanting traditional Queenslander cottages, and individually themed contemporary pavilions that nestle beneath the tree canopy on the water's edge. The cottages are well spaced and private, each having it's own beach area and canoe, paddle ski or rowboat.

The interiors are spacious and flow out through French doors to wide open verandas and decks that hover over the panoramic vistas beyond. A host of water birds including jabirus, cormorants, swans and pelicans inhabit lake Weyba. Eagles glide above while the more cheeky kookaburras perch on the deck rails awaiting a morsel of food. Nature abounds all around with kangaroos, koalas and numerous other species cohabitating in the surrounding bushland.

Discerning guests can escape the run of the mill tourist circuit. No formalities, no pressures, no interruptions from the outside world. A truly unique eco conscious destination.

Canoes Guests may choose to make use of the complimentary canoes, paddle ski or rowboat to explore pristine Lake Weyba and it's many waterways. Paddle up Weyba Creek into the renowned Noosa River or explore the untouched everglades of Keyser Creek and Eenie Creek. See the amazing mirrored reflections of old man paperbarks or the clouds above on the tranquil waters. Guided kayak tours can be organised through reception. Kitesuring KItesurfing lessons on Lake Weya can be organised through reception. Bike riding Explore the West Weyba Section of the Noosa National Park, and then go shopping or the beach at Peregian Beach, or cycle through rural paddocks, spotting the endangered black cockatoos and kangaroos grazing, play a round of golf and cycle back to your cottage, or enjoy a leisurely ride around the beautiful bush tracks on Eumarella Shores and around the shores of Lake Weyba. Time training circuit. Bikes for hire and rides to suit all levels. Bush Walks There are many short walks through the rainforest or longer walks to the beautiful wild flower wallum area to the rear of the property and around the lakeshore. Bushwalks for the more adventurous are available to the Marcus High Dunes part of the Noosa National Park where the wildflowers produce a riot of colour. Swimming The temperature ranges from 24 to 34 degrees Celsius, so a swim in the lake is a popular option. Fishing Keen anglers are also well catered for with excellent fishing right outside each cottage. Commonly caught species are bream and estuary cod. Row or paddle out into the lake with your crab pot and catch a sand or mud crab for dinner. Fishing rods, tackle and bait, and crab pots are available for hire. Wildlife and Bird Watching A flora and fauna reserve, and a marine reserve, guests can spot wildlife, wildflowers, water birds, wallum bird species and much much more. An eco tourists delight!
